Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

May 2021 I had the chance to play my first gig since the pandemic began in March 2020. It was my first time playing out with Ryan Painter and The Resistors. We were scheduled to hit The Museum Club in Flagstaff, AZ on May 1 2021.

Brian, the drummer, and I went out a day early to take in the “Big Hole’, as he had put it.

We walked the South rim from Mather Point to Bright Angel Trailhead. It's surreal. It's so vast that it looks like a painting spanning miles and miles. All you can do is walk and stare in awe. What a great experience.

Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colter’s Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset. ― Google
